Abstract
Wahhabis believe that supplication to an absent and dead living creature, as well as supplication to a living creature at hand, such as asking for healing, is shirk. Muhammad bin Abd al-Wahhab and his supporters have continuously argued to some verses of the Qur'anic verses to prove their claim. while it seems that these verses are irrelevant to Wahhabi's claim. In fact, the verses argued by the Wahhabis are related to the worship of " Gods other than Allah " by polytheists. The polytheists openly called their idols Gods and goddesses, while none of the Muslims who asks for intercession calls their intercessors to be God. Therefore, applying the above verses which is about polytheists to Muslims is false.
