Fundamental differences and apparent commonalities between Muhammad bin Abd al-Wahhab and Sayyid Qutb in the issue of "ignorance"

Ignorance is one of the original Qur'anic and narrative concepts. There are so many interpretations on the meaning of this concept. This concept is one of the most frequent keywords in the works of Muhammad bin Abd al-Wahhab and Sayyed Qutb. Both of Muhammad bin Abd al-Wahhab and Sayyed Qutb consider the concept of jahiliyyah to be general and include acts of blasphemy and immorality. They believe that ignorance crystallizes in three areas of belief, promise and action; But their ideas differ in terms of applying this concept to practice, they have fundamental differences with each other, since Muhammad bin Abd al-Wahhab, maintain that correct actions such as supplication, seeking intercession, and seeking bless from the graves of the righteous are considered jahiliyyah.
