Abstract
Muhammad Ibn Abd al-Wahhab, the founder of Wahhabism, in his famous book named "monotheism" mentions a hadith from the Holy prophet Muhammad (PBH) which says to his daughter, Fatima (PBH): " in this world ask me anything that you wish but, in the afterworld, I cannot do anything for you in the judgement day." Muhammad Ibn Abd al-Wahhab concludes that if someone asks something beyond the power of humans from the prophets, this means that he put the prophets in the place of God and asks his requests from the prophets rather than God. In order to consider the Muhammad Ibn Abd al-Wahhab's claim and his understanding from this Hadith, we considered the views of Shai and Sunni great scholars. The results are that the hadith does not mean to forbid the intercession, but to say that the destiny of everybody determines by his own actions and the position of the father has no effect in entering the paradise. We must do good deeds to satisfy the God. So, Muhammad Ibn Abd al-Wahhab 's inference from this Hadith on banning the intercession is wrong.
