Abstract
Jihad and using the weapon are of those Islamic teachings which is emphasized on it. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBH) was encouraging his companions on this principle. Salafi Jihadi as a group holding that the only way of spreading Islam is by force provide some evidences for their ideology. They try to sell their ideas. One of the their important evidences is the "Sword Narration". The Jihadists misinterpret this narration. Although using the weapon is very important in defending from ourselves, it is not the only way of spreading the Islam. The Jihadists insist that the only way for spreading Islam is warfare. Also, the Takfirist maintain that in the narration above, the holy prophet put their living in war and capturing the other's properties. But by digging into this narration we can understand that the source of this narration is invalid and the Hadith experts do not trust to it. On the other hand, there are some many narrations issued from the Holy prophet, which is opposite to this narration.
